He also plays guitar in the Icelandic band The Lovely Lion.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c1sgeir&#8217;s spare piano arrangement, his high and softly plaintive voice, the careful but effective use of echo and percussion, and the mounting layers of synthesized sound create something unique and lovely. This introverted, ethereal version has a very different energy than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=n6P0SitRwy8\">Nirvana&#8217;s original<\/a>, but I find it every bit as captivating.
